The MSC Community Village project will offer young adults with a physical disabilities accommodation whilst they undertake further education beyond LaValla School.
The construction of the 11 houses and 4 general facility buildings has been ongoing for almost a year, with completion set down for mid-2019. It is very promising to view the latest developments in what is a major AMS funded project. The MSC Community Village offers local staff and students professional care and an opportunity of a level not generally yet known in Cambodia.
The Community Village is a vision of the recently deceased Brother Terry Heinrich and builds on two other Marist projects, the LaValla School (primary) and the Inclusive Education Program, by providing purpose built accommodation for young people with disabilities enrolled in high school or university.
