Unlock Solidarity: Freedom to learn
Happy New Year from all the team at Australian Marist Solidarity. With the school term now in full swing we would like to introduce our 2018 Schools campaign which focuses on the story of the first Marist school in Bangladesh and a student’s family who can see a brighter future for their children, free of modern slavery in the tea gardens.
Our website contains many resources that support this campaign which your school can use throughout the year and can be found on the schools pack link. Should you require more please contact us and one of our team will be in touch. This year we have also produced a one-minute launch video in a cartoon format which is ideal for assemblies and also classes to use with some proposed learning activities. Not all schools will use this project as their focus but as a starter perhaps to illustrate new Marist educational initiatives for impoverished children in the Asia-Pacific region. For other projects and information visit our website, or our team, can propose and provide details.
