Operation Rainbow, a Marcellin Trust project in India, was established in 2003 by the Marist Brothers to provide support to families and children affected by HIV. It works with families in their own settings and assists them access resources available within their local communities.
Recently Operation Rainbow organised a five day Summer Camp for the children from 25th to 29th April, 2018. 120 children and young people participated in the camp with special guest speakers discussing topics including the impacts of technology and the culture of consumerism, self-discovery, positive thinking and health. On the last day of the camp there was also a stage performance by the children. Operation Rainbow took the opportunity to thank Brother Rajakumar for his excellent service to Rainbow and the LaValla Study Centre projects as it’s director.
AMS CEO Brother Allen Sherry, fms would also like to place on record his thanks to Brother Rajakumar for his devotion and dedication to Operation Rainbow and his valuable co-ordination of Australian Marist Solidarity projects in Trichy, India.
